The Ground-cover roses form an increasingly important group that has been produced from a wide range of breeding stock. Most are extremely vigorous plants capable of carpeting a wide area and many are similar in flower and foliage to miniature roses. Some, however, are rather sparse and are best used as trailer rather than ground covers. ‘Flower Carpet’ is densely foliaged, near evergreen in mild climates and has deep pink, semi-double flowers. ‘Sea Foam’ is a trailer with pale pink, double flowers that age to white. ‘Snow Carpet’ is often classed as a Miniature rose and has masses of small, white, double flowers.
