This cultivar is the result of a cross between Clematis texensis and a large-flowered hybrid whose identity has been lost. The flowers are a clear pink with rose pink bars and cream stamens, with 4 to 6, quite fleshy petals. The leaves are divided into 3 or 5 heart-shaped leaflets, gray-green in color. It will climb to a height of 6–8 ft (1.8–2.4 m). (c) Beaver Multimedia - www.gardeninfo.com
