This
native of Europe and temperate Asia is like a small version of the Shasta
daisy, though the pretty white flowerheads, borne in early summer, are no more
than 2 in (5 cm) in diameter. A clump-forming perennial up to 30 in (75 cm)
tall, it is freely self-seeding and has become abundantly naturalized in parts
of North America, Australia and New Zealand.
