Palm Trees in Oregon
Brian and Becky's Oregon palm Garden When most people think of palm trees, they think of some tropical island full of coconut palms. However, there are many species of palms which are native to non tropical climates, so you don't have to live in the tropics to have palms. We live on the border of USDA zone 8a/8b. This means that "on average" the absolute low temperature for winter is 15 degrees.
